Props. Where would I be without props? Our photo shoots often happen and come together organically. Thankfully, due to my slight hoarding problem ;), our warehouse is chock full of interesting and remarkably useful things. It doesn't cease to amaze all involved with every "find" as we dig deep into the archives. Sometimes, I'm even amazed myself! We've got it all covered, from old sleds and antlers to ski gear galore. Vintage roller skates and bar stools, lamps and lemons. Boats, oars and all things "sailing". Bamboo this. Bamboo that. Even a bamboo bike. With every shoot I worry/wonder if I still have what we need or if we've actually exhausted the resource. But so far, so good. I should probably start trolling vintage shops....or Awosting soon, just to hedge my bets. And speaking of props...I need to give props to my amazing team who make it all happen. Without them I'd be a wreck and I certainly would not laugh as much or have anywhere close to the amount of fun I have while they are around, propping me up in more ways than one. And to my best find, my most invaluable prop...Vieve! Thanks for organizing everything always and appreciating and encouraging my inner pack rat. First stop "American Pickers", next stop "Hoarders".
